After more than a dozen years of exploring the world alone, she now helps other women do the same through her 1 2 3 Go Solo! program. But Lisa’s path wasn’t always clear. She started in massage therapy, aromatherapy, yoga instruction, and life coaching — a career that allowed her to travel but also took a toll on her body. In 2012, she went to Uganda for 30 days to help women give birth at a safe birth house — a transformational experience that planted the seeds for her future work.
Lisa’s realization that solo travel could be a form of healing and empowerment came later. After years of working behind a desk, she created a "Spa-cation" for herself — a week of intentional self-care and exploration. That’s when it clicked: why wait for retirement to have fun when you can create opportunities for adventure and personal growth now? Her husband’s support and her own drive led her to create 1 2 3 Go Solo!, combining her passion for travel and coaching to help other women overcome fear and embrace independence.
Lisa’s story is one of transformation, resilience, and discovering purpose through personal experience. She's living proof that you don't have to wait for "someday" to follow your passion. Whether it's jumping out of a plane for her 50th birthday or supporting women as they navigate their solo journeys, Lisa embodies the adventurous spirit she inspires in others.
